Join One Acre Fund at the 2024 Chicago Gala on Thursday, October 10th at the Chicago Botanic Garden in celebration of another year of hard-work tackling food insecurity among the farm families we serve.
Over the last seventeen years, One Acre Fund has pioneered and proven a holistic ‘market bundle’ of financing, delivering farm inputs, insurance, trainings and postharvest support. This bundle boosts farmers’ incomes on the crops and activities we support by an average 40%+ within a single season. For families living on less than $2 per person per day, this helps farmers to eliminate chronic hunger and enable new investments.
This year, we’ve set an ambitious goal to raise $1,000,000 in support of One Acre Fund’s work and the farmers we serve. These critical funds will help deliver the above services to 40,000 farm families, encompassing 160,000 children, across our nine program countries.
