Matt Forti

Matt Forti

Managing Director, One Acre Fund

Matt Forti has been involved in One Acre Fund's board since the organization's founding in 2006, and was our first Board Chairman. Matt joined One Acre Fund's staff in 2013, as the director of One Acre Fund USA. He also manages One Acre's UK operations.

Prior to joining One Acre Fund's staff, Matt was a Manager and Co-head of the Performance Measurement Practice at the Bridgespan group, a 501(c)3 that helps nonprofit and philanthropic leaders develop strategies to achieve breakthrough results. Matt received an MBA with distinction from the Kellogg School of Management and graduated summa cum laude and Phi Beta Kappa from Northwestern University with a BA in economics and sociology. While at Northwestern, Matt studied economics at the University College London.

Robert Amelung

Robert Amelung

Robert has been a volunteer for One Acre Fund since 2012 and during that period he has increased the organization's brand awareness in the Netherlands. In 2014, Robert was asked to join the Board of One Acre Fund. For the past 5 years, Robert worked at Generali Group in Milan and was responsible for setting up a global Customer Experience Program. Previously at NN-Groep, one of the major insurers in the Netherlands, where he was responsible for Marketing and Products for Insurance International. Robert studied business administration at Nijenrode Business School and has an MBA from IMD in Lausanne, Switzerland.

Femke Rotteveel

Femke Rotteveel

Director, FOTODOK

Femke Rotteveel works as a connector and brings together social values ​​and entrepreneurship and is now director of FOTODOK, an international space for documentary photography based in Utrecht. Femke previously worked for Jan Rotmans' Kantelteam, and for 7.5 years at the Postcode Lottery where she gave advice on how to give money to charities and headed the exhibition department at World Press Photo for 7.5 years. Femke studied economic history in Amsterdam and Exeter.

Aaltje de Roos

Aaltje de Roos

One Acre Fund Stichting Board member 

Aaltje de Roos is originally a sociologist. She started her career at the United Nations and worked in Nigeria and Malawi. In 1986, she joined the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and worked as a senior policy advisor. Together with numerous executive organizations, she worked on programs in the financial sector, in particular on building and strengthening insurance systems in healthcare and agriculture and on strengthening producer organizations and cooperatives. After formally retiring in 2018, Aaltje is now active in volunteer roles that allow her to continue to exercise her expertise and passion in these areas. In that context, she joined the board of the One Acre Fund in April 2019.

Jasper Snoek

Jasper Snoek is convinced that a just society that is in harmony with nature is necessary and feasible. Jasper uses his position as director of Fair Capital Partners Impact Investing, manager of investment funds with a green and social objective, to achieve this. He was the financial director of Stichting DOEN, the distribution fund of the National Postcode Lottery, BankGiro Loterij and Vriendenloterij, which combines subsidies and impact investment activities. Jasper has 20 years of experience in SME financing in countries in Europe, Africa, Asia, and America, including in microfinance, agriculture, food, and renewable energy.

Henk van Stokkom

Henk van Stokkom

One Acre Fund Stichting board member 

Henk van Stokkom has been a philanthropic advisor for quite some time. He currently assists foundations and families in structuring and executing their donation portfolio. Before that, he was the director of an investment company that was active on the Dutch stock exchange. Van Stokkom has worked for a number of companies such as Salomon Smith Barney Nederland where he was involved in the launch of investment products for institutional investors and has held positions as financial director for the De Waal Foundation and Hemar BV. He was active in Latin America for the De Waal Foundation, where the foundation (co-)financed projects for children with disabilities. Van Stokkom has served on the boards of various charitable organizations, including as chairman of the Stichting Beheer Oikocredit Nederland Fonds (2002 -2006).
