This role is a combination video editor and videographer who will produce professional quality videos for One Acre Fund’s training programs, marketing, fundraising, and brand campaigns all of which will focus on driving impact for farmers, especially youth and women. This work will combine storytelling, social behavior change, and marketing skillsets to support One Acre Fund to share compelling impact stories. Your focus will be to capture farmer stories that demonstrate the impact of One Acre Fund’s work both on an individual and generational level.
Our Creative Lead will work as a deputy to our Creative Director on our Global Communications team, and will manage the Global Comms team support request systems and oversee all incoming creative requests, delegating those out to team units and helping ensure the team is upkeeping our SLAs and quality. They will be a strong contributor to creative brainstorms and ideation, will support the organization’s brand management, and will review all creative content for quality, holding last line creative reviews for Tier 2 and Tier 3 content.
This position will also manage and be responsible for the professional development of a creative team of ~5 people working on graphic design and video, directly managing ~3 reports.

Recognizing both the incredible potential of smallholder farmers and the persistent challenges they face, our Nigeria program convened key stakeholders for a national dialogue on food security in Abuja. For many farmers in sub-Saharan Africa, planting trees through our farmer-led tree planting initiative has had many, varied and obvious benefits.
Starting as a pilot serving 150 farmers in 2018 in Niger State, our program in Nigeria has been hugely successful – in 2022, we served over 24,000 farmers. We are rapidly scaling and expanding our work, which has the potential to transform the livelihoods of hundreds of thousands of Nigeria’s smallholder farmers over the next decade.
