One Acre Fund works in the center and north of Burundi, in the provinces of Muramvya, Gitega, Ngozi, Kayanza, and Mwaro.
Founded in 2011, our Burundi program operates under the local brand Tubura and is headquartered in Muramvya. We work directly with farmers across all 5 provinces: Bujumbura, Gitega, Burunga, Buhumuza, and Butanyerera, with additional support provided by a smaller office in Bujumbura.
Our team of over 1,900 staff serves more than 500,000 hardworking farmers.
