About One Acre Fund

Founded in 2006, One Acre Fund supplies 1 million smallholder farmers with the agricultural services they need to make their farms vastly more productive. Our 8,000+ team is drawn from diverse backgrounds and professions. With operations across six core countries in Africa, we make farmers more prosperous by providing quality farm supplies on credit, delivered within walking distance of farmers’ homes, and agricultural training to improve harvests. On average, the farmers we serve harvest 50 percent more food after working with One Acre Fund.

About the Role

The Core Tree Program Associate will be an essential part of our leadership team in one of One Acre Fund's fastest growing country programs. The Ethiopia program is poised to serve over 300,000 farmers in 2023, grow 10 million trees and scale an ambitious seed multiplication program. By 2025, we aim to serve 500,000 farmers and plant 100 million trees.

We are seeking a strong individual to work through and build the effectiveness of our field and support staff of the Core Tree Department (100+ full time employees). You will report directly to the Ethiopia Core Tree Lead, and you will directly manage (at least) two key deputies.
