While high-impact social change-making organizations are making meaningful progress the world over, the resources available to them are rarely enough to meet the full scale of the need. The emergence of big bet donations is promising. These sizeable donations increase the likelihood that change implemented today will have meaningful and lasting effects.
However, if big bets are really to be impactful in the long haul, there are certain things that doers and donors could do to further promote the benefit of this fund-raising mechanism.
