About the Role

The Inventory Batch Data Analyst at Tupande is crucial for maintaining the integrity and accuracy of Batch tracked products data across all our operations. Your role will involve meticulously managing product lot and batch data within our systems and physical locations to ensure they are accessible and traceable. The specialist will work with the global supply chain, warehouse, and Asili teams to optimize batch tracked products inventory management processes and enhance data-driven decision-making.

Expected Manager

The Inventory Batch Data Analyst will report directly to the Inventory Data Management Lead

Responsibilities

  • Oversee all KPIs related to inventory batch data accuracy and contribute to strategic planning and setting of inventory management OKRs.
  • Ensure excellence in inventory batch data management
  • Implement processes to minimize stock loss from product expiry and damage
  • Collaborate with Sourcing, GSC, Warehousing, Retail, Tech, and BI teams to align and enhance inventory batch data management practices.
  • Ensure consistency and accuracy in product batch issuance and tracking by working with warehousing and retail teams

Qualifications

Across all roles, these are the general qualifications we look for. For this role specifically, you will have:

  • Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field.
  • Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI)
  • 2 years experience working with SAP with a focus on inventory batch management with emphasis on FIFO, FEFO and scenario analysis.
  • 2+ years experience in data analysis and data cleaning.
  • Familiarity with supply chain management software and warehouse management systems.
  • Understanding of logistics, warehousing practices, and supply chain dynamics.
